| Private Tie-up arrangement for Super Specialty Treatment |

As per the decision taken by ESI Corporation in its 143 meeting held on 8.7.2008, the expenditure for super specialty treatments (including diagnostic services) totally borne by ESI Corporation outside the existing the existing ceiling w.e.f. 1.8.2008. |

The main objective to take over the Super Specialty treatment by ESIC is to provide cashless and hassle free treatment to IPs and their dependants. |
|
|
The scope of services to be covered under super specialty treatment are as under :-

This will include all the investigations which require intervention and monitoring by super specialist in the disciplines mentioned above. In addition, the following specialized investigations will also be covered: |

CT scan |
| |
(b) |
MRI
|
| |
(c) |
PET Scan
|
| |
(d) |
Echo Cardiography
|
| |
(e) |
Scanning of other body parts
|
| |
(d) |
Specilized bio-chemical and Immunological investigations.

(e) |
Any other investigation costing more than Rs.3000/- per test.
|

Accordingly Sr.State Medical Commissioner, ESI Corporation Ahmedabad has entered tie up arrangements with leading private hospitals & laboratories in all important centers in Gujarat for providing super specialty treatment and diagnostic services for ESI beneficiaries.
